I saw this a couple different places, and I think that it sounds super fun! I like to make homemade things...so, what the heck!
Here is how it works-- the first 3 people to leave a comment on this post will receive a handmade gift from me sometime during this year. If you do not live close by please leave me your address. What it is and when it arrives will be a total surprise! The catch is that you must participate as well. Before you leave your comment here, put a pay it forward post on your blog to keep the fun going! Then come back and let me know you are going to play and sit back and anticipate the arrival of your surprise! Remember only the first 3 will qualify! Good luck!

Joys in moving???
Honestly I can only think of one joy...SPACE!!
We have started moving this last week...and let me tell you I am dead tired today!! We moved all the 'big stuff' last night and slept in our 'new house'!! There are a few odds and ends here and there and a couple pieces of furniture left at our apartment, but we're almost there!
Last night was interesting...Little Kierstin was so overly tired last night when we put her down, that she SCREAMED (not cried!) for an hour before she finally fell asleep! Poor little one. I don't know what it was, but she was somewhere 'new' and even though she had her bed, she wasn't going to bed with out a fight. Which is really odd...because she always goes to bed really well. Oh well, it just means bedtime is earlier tonight!! YAY! (I'd be asleep now, if I only had my pillow!)
Anyways...I am hoping to get all moved out of the apartment by Friday night, so that I can clean on Saturday. Then I am planning on unpacking and organizing. I am getting excited cause I want to PAINT!!! I can actually have some COLOR to my house, it doesn't have to just be boring WHITE!
Visitors are welcome! We have PLENTY of room!

Up the mountain we go!
We decided to take a little drive up the mountain this last weekend. We kind of already had the plans in the works before we woke up Saturday morning. But when we woke up, to our surprise there was about 6-8 inches of snow. We went up anyways and caught some great pictures. It was so pretty with a fresh blanket of snow. This is why I live where I do!

Well...
It looks like I didn't fool any of you! Darn!!
Our exciting news is....
We are moving into a house!
PS This isn't really the house! haha
My parents have been looking for a new house for the last 6 months or so...and finally found one that they liked! I told them that I would like to rent their house, if they didn't want to try and sell it! They have agreed! We are going to rent their house...my childhood home! I know it is going to seem a little weird at first, but I'm hoping that with all the extra room, I won't care! We are really excited and can't wait to move....which should be with in the next week. We should be all the way in by the end of the month! YAY! Now we can actually have people stay over when they come to visit! Won't that be nice! :0)

Red Cliffs
Robert decided that he wanted to go down to Red Cliffs for his birthday and go on a little hike (since we had the girls with us) and practice our photography skills. I talked my dad into letting me borrow his old...and yes I mean old, he bought it on his mission!...35mm camera. Robert and I wanted to learn how to do the maual focusing and such. Since it is film...you'll have to wait to see those pictures. It wasn't the best day to take photos, but tell me what you think....here they are...my favorite pictures of the day!

UPS...P for Pot??
I had a very interesting week last week here at work, and I have been wanting to share, but haven't really been able to talk about it until now.
On Tuesday the 24th a guy walked into the store, with the label from a package that we had sent that was going to NY and wanted some information on the guy that had sent it. I must have given him a confused/concerned look, because he then pulled out his badge, and said that he was with the local Narcotics Task Force. He proceeded to tell me that this particular customer had shipped from our store about 30 pounds of marijuana. I'm sure that my mouth dropped! That's a first! So I gave him all the information that I could and I had him talk to the employee that had acutally helped ship the packages.
A couple days later, we were in the paper....here's the article!
