Christmas Decorations!

Last Christmas we hardly had any Christmas decor, so this year, we went all out! We had so much fun pulling out all of our decorations and putting them up all over our little apartment! Teniah is THRILLED at the fact that she was able to decorate her own little tree that is now sitting right beside her bed. Robert and I both were so excited to have our Christmas village. It has been two Christmas' without it, and it is so much fun to have out! ( I will post more pictures of the rest of the decor soon!)

Kierstin was a good little helper...well mostly...but look at that face! :0)

Happy Thanksgiving!!

We were able to go to Sarah and Devin's this year for Thanksgiving. It was so much fun to be with family for the holidays! We had so much fun getting all the food ready, played Risk (well I did, for a while, til I got killed off!), watched movies and finally fell asleep! Yummy food and family...good mix!I am able to say that I am the first of Little Cooper's Aunties to see him! He is quite the little doll! He is such a good little guy! He was wide awake most of the evening too, cute cute!

Daddy's Little Girl!

I walked into the girl's room the other day to find Kierstin doing this....

No one can say she isn't Robert's!!!

Just a little behind the times!

I got a lovely post from my brother in law...reminding me that Halloween was a while ago, and that he was sure that I had something new to talk about! hehe

I am waiting to get my pictures on my computer. You would think that wouldn't be such a hard feat, but somedays! hehe

Anyways...I am hoping to have everything uploaded soon! Give you a few pictures of Thanksgiving, just in time for Christmas! hehe

Happy Halloween!

Here is Teniah ... showing off her LOOT!

Here is little Kierstin!

Here are our two cute little Fairies!

We decided to dress up for work this Halloween, and I decided to go as a beauty queen...Miss UPS 2008! We had so much fun at work that day! Everyone laughed when they walked in the door, it was great! Don't I look good as a BLONDE!!

Pumpkin Carving!

I guess that I was the only one that got in the carving spirit this year. I carved both of these pumpkins...with a little help from Teniah on the cat. I don't know why, but I love to do these kind of pumpkins now. I think that they look so cool!

Playing on the floor

Kierstin's new favorite thing is to play with her toys on the floor. She is crawling around, getting better each day. She is no speed demon like her sister was, but she is getting faster! She just looked too cute sitting here with all her toys around her, I had to snap a picture. :0)

And he's off!

My "little" brother went into the MTC this week. For the last three weeks, we have been hanging out as much as possible, getting in all the fun we could have! We celebrated Halloween, Thanksgiving and Christmas with him all before he left. Sounds funny, but we had so much fun!! He wasn't the only one who got presents either! He got Teniah a little missionary teddy bear, it is so cute!

Tuesday he got set apart and he and my parents came by to say good bye. Sounds funny, but I could hardly look at him! I know he is where he needs to be, but he's my little brother, and I was going to miss him! He's the only brother I have! Those of you who know him, know that he is somewhat soft spoken, but he actually talks to me...surprising I know! We were having so much fun working together too! And that's been hard already, my muscles are gone! hehe So we were able to talk for a bit, I gave him a couple hugs, cried a few tears and he was on his way!

When he got his call, three months seemed like such a long time! But it sure went by fast. :0) Here's too hoping that the next two go by quickly too!

Fall or winter?

Today we drove up Cedar mountain to see the fall colors, like we do every fall. We drove up with Jim and Myrna, and we had really a good time. We got quite the surprise though, SNOW!

It was really weird to see snow and the trees still had leaves on them. Even with all the snow around, the fall leaves were still very beautiful.

Little Kierstin didn't get a chance to get out of the car, but as you can see, I don't think that she minded!! It really put me in the fall mood. Robert and I were both longing for our 'fall things', which includes, Baby Ruths, candy corns, hot coco and sweaters.

Just a little thought...

even through the stormy bad days, there is always hope of brighter better days

Past events....

Here are a few past events, that were missed in the time that the blog was disappearing! :0)

I think that it was Labor Day weekend, we decided to drive up to Cedar Breaks. It was a quick trip, but fun to go for a little drive. We had a picnic in the freezing cold wind, and drove around the park. It was COLD but fun! Nice way to relax!

In the city of festivals...hehe...we were able to see the Skyfest from our house! The Skyfest is a hot air balloon and remote airplane festival. It all took place at the baseball/soccer fields that are down the street from our house. For three days, every morning when we walked out our door and made our way to the car, we were able to see about 15 hot air balloons in the sky.

Teniah loved it, she thought it was so cool to see such BIG balloons!! One morning we actually made it over to the fields and watched up close the air balloons take off the ground and land again. It was so fun!

Here is my attempt to capture Kierstin's new teeth...but didn't do that great of a job on it! Now she has four...with one more on the way! She has three on the bottom and one on the top...she has such a cute little grin! Sorry for the blurry...it was hard to take while holding the little wiggle worm!!

We Have an Athlete at our House!

On the 20th, Robert participated in his first Triathlon! He has been training for about the last four months or so. He has been running, biking and swimming in all of his spare time. For his first Triathlon, he did the sprint, which is just a shortened version of a normal one. First he had to swim half a mile. Then he hopped on his bike and rode for 12 and a half miles. To finish the race, he had to run just a little over 3 miles and cross the finish line!
Teniah and I, plus Grandma and Grandpa went down to cheer him on! I was expecting it to be BORING, but I can't believe how much fun I had! I talked to Robert during 'transitions' and kept his energy going. When he crossed the finish line, he was beaming with excitement, and looked pretty exhausted! He felt awesome though, but was STARVING!

We are so Proud of our DADDY!!

Here is Robert, showing off his medal!

Technical Difficulties!

Yes, I will be the first one to admit, that I have my blond moments (no offense to any blonds out there! :0) ). All I can say, is don't ask! Long story short, I have had to start all over on a new blog. So here it...attempt 2 in the blogging world!
