A day Outdoors

About a week ago, we decided to go for a hike up Cedar Mtn. We were planning on hiking some caves up there, but alas, they were locked and gated...not the season yet. So we walked around a little and had a picnic in the most beautiful meadow.
Kierstin was little "Miss Independent" and didn't want anyone to help her walk around. She ended up very dirty, but no tears were shed!

We had a very beautiful day!

New House ... part 2

Our House...part 1

I have been planning on posting pictures of our house, and now that I have also had a couple of requests for pictures, I have decided to share with you our new home! We have been moved in for a few weeks now, and I think that we FINALLY have every thing UNPACKED. Everything might not be ORGANIZED, but there are no boxes laying around. I found out that in a home you have more walls than in an apartment, so some of my walls are still bare, as I find some pictures to hang in the empty frames! A few rooms to paint...and I'll be all finished!

Egg Hunting!

Here are a few pictures of the girls Easter morning. They both had so much fun looking for the eggs! The Easter Bunny surprised Teniah by hiding all the items in her basket, and she had to look all over for them! She was 'princessified'! She found a princess letter book, jump rope, lip gloss, puzzle and washcloth!Kierstin had fun slipping and sliding all over on the wood floors, that's what I get for being lazy and not changing her first! She ran around after Teniah, and I was quite shocked that she managed to find about 4 eggs...mostly on her own!

I just noticed that there was an egg right behind her!! Maybe she dropped it!! Kierstin is our little camera 'cheeser'! I love it! All I did was pull out the camera, and this is the faces that I get from her!! Love that toothy grin!

We decided to forgo the candy this year and the eggs were filled with goldfish crackers, raisins, sunflower seeds and cranberries. The girls LOVED them and snacked on them ALL morning! Later that morning Teniah and I colored the hard boiled eggs...but I was too busy coloring that I forgot to take some pictures!! But they sure were yummy!

SNOW....Are you kidding me???

Yesterday, it snowed! Yes, it's April. Yes, Monday was GORGEOUS!! Yes, it's spring. But, YES, it SNOWED!! I was truly hoping that it would stay in the mountains, but alas, as I look out my window right now, the grass is covered in snow.

I'm planning on inviting Al Gore to come and live here for a year, and then reevaluate his "global warming theory"!! hehe :0)

Splish Splash!!

I was giving the girls a bath last night, and though I usually do them together, less time and effort, last night I did them separate. (Teniah was doing the dishes, my favorite new chore that she can do!!) Anyways, Kierstin LOVES bath time, and tries to climb in the tub before there is any water in there. Once she is in, she loves to splash around and play in the water. So, I bathe her, she plays for a few, and out she comes. I lotioned her, put a clean diaper on, and got the little miss in her jammies. About that time, Teniah was finished with the dishes, so it was her turn. I started the water, Kierstin on my heels, and turned my back for two seconds, heard the thud, only to turn around and find Kierstin in the bathtub!! Jammies and all. I was surprised that she didn't scream or cry, but was DRIPPING wet when I pulled her out. I try to explain to her that you get out of the clothes before you get in the bath! Oh well!

I thought about taking a picture, but she was so sopping wet, that she was getting cold quick...so no pictures!
